देवगड : पुढारी वृत्तसेवा : सिंधुदुर्ग जिल्ह्यातील तोरसोळे फाटाजवळील धोकादायक वळणावर आज (दि. ९) सकाळी ८.३० वाजताच्या सुमारास अंत्यसंस्कारासाठी निघालेल्या चारचाकीचा भीषण अपघात झाला. देवगड तालुक्यातील तळेबाजार येथील ज्योतिर्लिंग जनरल स्टोअर्सचे मालक महेश मोहन तोरसकर (वय ४८) हे शनिवारी सकाळी ८ वाजताच्या सुमारास कसाल येथे नातेवाईकाच्या अंत्यसंकारासाठी चारचाकीने जात होते.
यावेळी त्यांचा समवेत त्यांची आई मनीषा मोहन तोरसकर (वय ७८) आणि किराणा दुकानाचे मालक गुरुनाथ श्रीराम पारकर, त्यांची पत्नी निता गुरुनाथ पारकर असे चार जण जात होते. तोरसोळे फाटाजवळील धोकादायक वळणावर देवगडच्या दिशेने येत असलेल्या ट्रकने कारला चालकाच्या बाजूने जोरदार धडक दिली. या अपघातात कार चालक महेश तोरसकर आणि त्यांची आई मनीषा तोरसकर यांचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला.
अपघाताची माहिती समजताच परिसरातील नागरिकांनी घटनास्थळी धाव घेतली. या भीषण अपघातानंतर कार तोरसोळे फाटाजवळ बाजूला गेली आणि ट्रक विरुद्ध दिशेला गेला. अपघातानंतर काही वेळाने ट्रकने पेट घेतला. अपघातस्थळी दाखल झालेल्या पोलिसांनी दोन्ही बाजूंची वाहने थांबवून ठेवली आणि अग्निशामक बंब बोलावून आग विझविण्यात आली. या अपघातात तोरसकर यांच्या समवेत कसाळ येथे जात असलेले गुरुनाथ पारकर आणि त्यांची पत्नी गंभीर जखमी झाली.
गुरुनाथ पारकर यांना कणकवली येथे आणि त्यांची पत्नीला गोवा येथे उपचारासाठी नेण्यात आले आहे. या अपघातात मृत्यू झालेल्या तळेबाजार येथील व्यापारी महेश तोरसकर आणि त्यांच्या आईचे दुर्दैवी निधन झाल्याने तळेबाजार परिसरात हळहळ व्यक्त होत आहे.
