किरण लोहार

रत्नागिरी; पुढारी वृत्तसेवा : रत्नागिरी व्हाया कोल्हापूर ते सोलापूर फक्त वाद आणि वादच ओढावून घेतलेल्या आणि वाद निर्माण केलेल्या सोलापूर जिल्हा परिषदेचे शिक्षणाधिकारी किरण लोहार यांना लाच स्वीकारताना अटक करण्यात आली आहे. ग्लोबल टीचर अ‍ॅवॉर्ड विजेते रणजित डिसले गुरुजी यांच्यावर आरोप केल्यानंतर शिक्षणाधिकारी लोहार चांगलेच अडचणीत आले होते. रत्नागिरीतही निर्माण केलेल्या काही वादांमुळे त्यावेळीही ते चर्चेत होते.

या प्रकरणातील तक्रारदाराची उत्तर सोलापूर तालुक्यातील कोंडी येथे स्वयंअर्थसहाय्य प्राथमिक शाळा आहे. पाचवी ते आठवीचे वर्ग वाढण्यासाठी शाळेने वर्गवाढीच्या परवानगीची मागणी प्राथमिक शिक्षणाधिकारी किरण लोहार याच्याकडे केली होती. त्याचा आयडी देण्यासाठी शिक्षणाधिकारी लोहार यांनी 50 हजार रुपयांची लाच मागितली. यावेळी त्यांना रंगेहाथ पकडण्यात आले. शिक्षणाधिकारी लोहार यांना पोलिसांनी अटक केली असून त्यांच्या कार्यालयातील कनिष्ठ सहायक अल्ताफ पटेल या लिपिकाला पोलिसांनी ताब्यात घेतले आहे. ही कारवाई सोमवारी सायंकाळी सहाच्या सुमारास करण्यात आल्याने याबाबत एकच खळबळ उडाली आहे.

जि.प.प्राथमिक शिक्षणाधिकारी डॉ. किरण लोहार हे मूळचे कोल्हापूर जिल्ह्यातील शाहूवाडी तालुक्यातील येळाणे गावचे रहिवासी आहेत. पण कोल्हापुरातही सेवेत असताना लोहार हे वादग्रस्त राहिले आहेत. ते पैसे घेतात असा आरोप सभागृहात झाला होता. त्यानंतर त्यांना कार्यमुक्त करण्याचा ठरावही कोल्हापूर जि. प. ने केला होता. लोहार यांना कॉमनवेल्थ व्होकेशनल युनिव्हर्सिटी ऑफ टोंगा’ या विद्यापीठाकडून पीएच. डी. पदवी प्रदान करण्यात आली होती. पीएच.डी. देणारी ही संस्थाच बोगस असल्याचे शिक्षण संचालकांच्या चौकशीत उघड झाल्याने त्यांच्या तक्रारीवरून पुण्यातील वानवडी पोलिस ठाण्यात लोहार यांच्यावर 2019 मध्ये गुन्हाही दाखल झाला आहे. सोलापुरात लोहार यांच्यावर कारवाई झाल्यानंतर त्यांच्या मूळ गावातील घरझडती व संपत्तीची चौकशी लाचलुचपत पथकाकडून करण्यात येत आहे. किरण लोहार यांची रत्नागिरीतही शैली अत्यंत वादग्रस्त ठरली होती. कोल्हापूरप्रमाणे जि. प. सभागृहात लोहार यांच्यावर पैसे घेतल्याचा आरोप काही सदस्यांनी केला होता. माध्यमिक आणि जि. प.चा काहीच संबंध नसल्याचे वक्तव्य त्यांनी भर सभागृहात केल्याने यावेळी ते चांगलेच वादात सापडले होते.

रविवारी पुरस्कार अन् सोमवारी बेड्या..

शिक्षणाधिकारी किरण लोहार यांना रविवारी (दि. 30 ऑक्टोबर) रोजी भिलार येथे झालेल्या एका संघटनेच्या राज्यस्तरीय अधिवेशनात उच्च व तंत्रशिक्षणमंत्री चंद्रकांत पाटील, राज्य उत्पादन शुल्क विभागाचे मंत्री शंभूराज देसाई यांच्या उपस्थितीत राज्यस्तरीय परस्कार देण्यात आला होता. त्याच्या दुसर्‍याच दिवशी लोहार यांना लाच घेताना रंगेहाथ पकडले. त्यामुळे पुरस्कार मिळालेल्या अधिकार्‍याच्या हातात दुसर्‍याच दिवशी बेड्या पडल्याबाबत जिल्हा परिषदेच्या आवारात चर्चा होती.

प्रामाणिकपणाचा तोरा गळून पडला

जि. प. प्राथमिक शिक्षणाधिकारी पदाची सूत्रे हाती घेतल्यापासून गेल्या वर्षभरात लोहार हे प्रामाणिकपणाचा तोरा दाखवित होते. अचानक शाळांना भेटी, शिक्षकांना नोटीस देऊन त्यांना दंड आकारणे अशा कारणांनी ते चर्चेत आले होते. डिसले गुरुजींच्या प्रकरणात तर ते वादग्रस्त होते, पण लाचलुचपत विभागाने केलेल्या कारवाईमुळे त्यांच्या प्रामाणिकपणाचा तोरा गळून पडला असून भ्रष्ट चेहरा समोर आला. यामुळे डॉ. किरण लोहार यांची प्रतिमा जनमानसात मलिन झाली आहे.
