नवी दिल्ली: टीम इंडियाचा आघाडीचा फलंदाज आणि यष्टीरक्षक ऋषभ पंत याच्या गाडीचा शुक्रवारी पहाटे पाच वाजता रुरकी येथे भीषण अपघात झाला. या अपघातामध्ये ऋषभ पंतला गंभीर दुखापत झाली आहे. अपघाताच्या काही तासांनंतर आता एक-एक करुन सर्व माहिती समोर येत आहे. ऋषभ पंत हा दिल्लीहून रुरकीला निघाला होता. गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून ऋषभची आई त्याला घरी बोलवत होती. त्यामुळे आईला सरप्राईज देण्यासाठी ऋषभ पंत भल्या पहाटे उत्तराखंडला निघाला होता. याठिकाणी नववर्षाचे सेलिब्रेशन करण्याचा ऋषभचा प्लॅन होता. मात्र, घरी पोहोचण्यापूर्वीच रुरकी येथील नारसन बॉर्डरवर ऋषभची मर्सिडीज कार वेगात असताना दुभाजकावर जाऊन आदळली. यावेळी ऋषभ पंत गाडीत एकटाच होता. गाडी दुभाजकाला वेगाने धडकल्यानंतर कारने लगेच पेट घेतला. त्याच्या मर्सिडीज कारचा पुढचा भाग आगीच्या भक्ष्यस्थानी पडल्यामुळे ऋषभ पंत जखमी अवस्थेतही प्रसंगावधान राखत विंडस्क्रीन तोडून गाडीबाहेर पडला. त्यामुळे ऋषभ पंतचा जीव थोडक्यात बचावला.

ऋषभच्या अपघाताची बातमी मिळताच त्याच्या कुटुंबीयांना मोठा धक्का बसला. ऋषभची आई सरोज या तातडीने देहरादून येथील रुग्णालयात पोहोचल्या. मुलाला जखमी पाहून सरोज यांना रडू कोसळले. सध्या डॉक्टरांकडून ऋषभवर उपचार सुरु असून त्याची प्रकृती स्थिर आहे. मात्र, ऋषभ पंतच्या हातापायाला आणि डोक्याला जबर मार बसला आहे. त्यामुळे येत्या एक ते दोन दिवसांमध्ये ऋषभ पंतला उपचारासाठी दिल्लीच्या एम्स रुग्णालयात हलवण्यात येऊ शकते.
