उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, ऊर्जा विभागाचे अधिकारी, महावितरण, महानिर्मिती, महापारेषण विभागाचे अधिकारी आणि विविध वीज कर्मचारी संघटनांच्या पदाधिकाऱ्यांमध्ये सह्याद्री अतिथीगृहात आज दुपारी एक वाजण्याच्या सुमारास बैठक झाली. या बैठकीनंतर उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी संबोधित करताना म्हटले की, राज्य सरकारला वीज कंपन्यांचे कोणतेही खासगीकरण करायचे नाही. येत्या तीन वर्षात राज्य सरकार 50 हजार कोटींची गुंतवणूक करणार असल्याचे उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी म्हटले. अदानी समूहाने समांतर परवान्यासाठी अर्ज केला. त्याच्या निषेधार्थ हा संप करण्यात आला होता. याबाबत बोलताना फडणवीस यांनी सांगितले की, समांतर परवान्याबाबत महावितरण, सरकारने अर्ज वीज नियामक आयोगाकडे करायला हवे अशी भूमिका वीज कर्मचारी संघटनांनी मांडली होती. राज्य वीज नियामक आयोगाकडे आपल्या हिताचे निर्णय घेतला जाईल, अशी भूमिका सरकार घेईल, असे फडणवीस यांनी म्हटले. कंत्राटी कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या मागण्यांबाबत सरकार सकारात्मक आहे. कामगार संघटनांनी घेतलेली भूमिका ही राज्य सरकारची भूमिका असल्याचे फडणवीस यांनी सांगितले. 

महाराष्ट्राच्या जनतेच्या हितासाठी हा संप पुकारला होता, असे वीज कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या नेत्यांनी सांगितले. आज सरकारसोबत झालेल्या चर्चेनंतर आमचे समाधान झाले आहे. सरकारने घेतलेल्या निर्णयाने, आश्वासनामुळे आमचे समाधान झाले असल्याचे वीज कर्मचारी संघटनांनी सांगितले.
