प्राजक्ताने आपल्या या ‘प्राजक्तराज’ या ज्वेलरी ब्रॅण्डच्या माध्यमातून इतिहासकालीन दागिने पुन्हा एकदा नव्याने प्रेक्षकांसमोर आणले आहेत. या ब्रॅण्डमध्ये वर्षानुवर्षे चालत आलेले पारंपरिक दागिने म्हणजे सारा, बुगडी, शिंदेशाही तोडे, पैलू पाटली, मासोळ्या, बेलपान, बकुळीहार, पुतळीहार, साज, ठुशी, नथ, मोहनमाळ, चंद्रहार यासारखे अनेक दागिने मिळणार आहेत. मुख्य म्हणजे हे दागिने खरे नसून ते ऑथेंटिक असणार आहेत. म्हणजेच दुसऱ्या धातूवर सोन्याचं पाणी चढवलेले हे दागिने असणार आहेत. लग्नसमारंभासाठी किंवा सणावारासाठी परिधान करायचे महाराष्ट्राच्या मातीतले हे दागिने प्राजक्ताने आपल्या ब्रॅण्डच्या रूपाने समोर आणले आहेत. या दागिन्यांच्या सोन्या, चांदी आणि तांब्याच्या दागिन्यांच्या शृंखलेची नावं आहेत तुळजा, म्हाळसा आणि सोनसळा.
आधुनिक काळात बदलत गेलेल्या परंपरेनुसार मागे पडलेल्या दागिन्यांचा ब्रॅण्ड सुरू करण्यामागचं कारणही तिने या कार्यक्रमात सांगितलं. भावाच्या लग्नात इच्छा असूनही आपल्याला पारंपरिक दागिने परिधान करता आले नाहीत याची खंतही तिने व्यक्त करून दाखवली. यासोबतच पुरुषांसाठीही दागिने प्राजक्तराज ब्रॅंड लवकरच सुरु करणार आहेत. या दागिन्यांच्या शृंखलेची नावं आहेत शिवबा, बळीबा आणि रायबा. या कार्यक्रमाला राज ठाकरे यांची विशेष उपस्थिती होती. त्यांनीही प्राजक्ताला तिच्या पुढील प्रवासासाठी आशीर्वाद दिला.
यावेळी राज ठाकरे म्हणाले, दागिने हा माझा विषय नाही, त्यामुळे पत्नीसोबत असणं गरजेचं आहे. त्याचप्रमाणे, मला दागिन्यांची जात कळत नाही पण त्याची वैशिष्ट जपणं देखील महत्त्वाचं आहे असेही ते यावेळी म्हणाले. त्याचबरोबर प्राजक्तराज नावावरून त्यांनी मिश्कील सवालही केला. राज ठाकरे म्हणाले, “आधी राज किंवा नंतर राज लावायचं असतं हे मला आधी सांगितलं असतं तर मी राजभवन तरी ठेवलं असतं अशी मिश्किली त्यांनी यावेळी केली आणि सोहळ्यात एकच हशा पिकला.
