मुंबई : पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी (Pm Narendra Modi) उद्या मुंबई दौऱ्यावर आहेत. मुंबईत ते उद्या विविध विकास कामांचं उद्घाटन करतील. यामध्ये सर्वात महत्वाच्या छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज टर्मिनस अर्थात सीएसएमटीच्या (CSMT) पुनर्विकास प्रकल्पाचे उद्घाटन देखील पंतप्रधान करणार आहेत. उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस (Devendra Fadnavis) यांनी ट्विटरवरून याबाबतची माहिती दिली आहे. या प्रकल्पांतर्गत रेल्वे स्थानकाचं रुपडं पालटणार आहे.  

“आमच्या आयकॉनिक सीएसएमटी छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज टर्मिनसबद्दल आणखी एक महत्त्वाची बातमी. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी रेल्वे प्रवाशांचा प्रवास आरामदायी, सोयीस्कर आणि दर्जेदार बनवण्यासाठी छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज टर्मिनस पुनर्विकास प्रकल्पाचे उद्घाटन करील. या प्रकल्पांतर्गत सीएसएमटी आणखी भव्य आणि अत्याधुनिक सुविधांसह नव्या रूपात येईल, असे ट्वीट देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी केले आहे.   

पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी CSMT पुनर्विकास प्रकल्पाची उद्या पायाभरणी करतील. या प्रकल्पामध्ये  येणाऱ्या आणि जाणाऱ्या ठिकाणांचे विभाजन, अपंगांसाठी अनुकूल स्थानक, प्रवाशांसाठी उत्तम सेवा, कार्यक्षम इमारत आणि 1930 मध्ये बांधलेल्या हेरिटेज साइटचा जीर्णोद्धार करण्याचा समावेश आहे. 

पंतप्रधान मोदी 19 जानेवारी रोजी पश्चिम उपनगरातील 2A आणि फेज II च्या 7 वरील मेट्रो सेवांना देखील हिरवा झेंडा दाखवतील. त्यानंतर ते मुंबई महापालिके अंतर्गत ( BMC ) येणाऱ्या प्रकल्पांचे भूमिपूजन करतील. यामध्ये रस्ते, रुग्णालये आणि सांडपाणी प्रक्रिया प्रकल्पांचे काँक्रिटीकरणाचा समावेश आहे.   

सीएसएमटी पुनर्विकास प्रकल्प 18,000 कोटी रुपयांचा आहे. या प्रकल्पासाठी पुढील महिन्यात बोली लावण्याची शक्यता आहे. त्यामुळेच या प्रकल्पाचे भूमिपूजन पंतप्रधानांच्या हस्ते होणार आहे. केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाची या प्रकल्पाला मंजुरी मिळाली आहे. शिवाय मुंबई हेरिटेज संवर्धन समितीने सीएसएमटी स्थानकाच्या पुनरुज्जीवनासाठी रेल्वे मंत्रालयाच्या योजनेलाही मान्यता दिली आहे, अशी माहिती मिळाली आहे. 

मागच्या वर्षी जूनमध्ये मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे आणि उपमुख्यमंत्री म्हणून देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी पदभार स्वीकारल्यानंतर पंतप्रधान मोदींचा हा पहिलाच मुंबई दौरा आहे. दरम्यान, मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे हे सध्या स्वित्झर्लंडमधील दावोस येथील वर्ल्ड इकॉनॉमिक फोरम (WEF)मध्ये सहभागी झाले आहेत. परंतु, पंतप्रधानांच्या मुंबई दौऱ्यामुळे ते भारतात परतणार आहेत.
