या शेतकऱ्याचं नाव देशमुख असं असून ते पनवेलहून मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांना भेटण्यासाठी आले होते. त्यांच्यासोबत त्यांची आठ वर्षाची मुलगीही होती. मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या भेटीसाठी सकाळपासून मातोश्रीबाहेर उभं राहिल्यानंतर मुख्यमंत्र्यांची भेट होत नाही, असं लक्षात आल्यावर त्यांनी पोलिसांना आतमध्ये जाऊ देण्याची विनंती केली. मात्र पोलिसांनी त्यांना आतमध्ये जाऊ देण्यास मज्जाव केला. त्यामुळे निराश झालेल्या देशमुख यांनी थेट मातोश्रीतच घुसण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. अचानक झालेल्या या प्रकारामुळे सतर्क झालेल्या पोलिसांनी देशमुख यांना अडवण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. त्यावेळी देशमुख यांनी पोलिसांना धक्के देत मातोश्रीकडे जाण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. यावेळी झालेल्या झटापटीत पोलिसांनी देशमुख आणि त्यांच्या कन्येला धक्काबुक्की केली. तेव्हा मला मुख्यमंत्र्यांना भेटू द्या, मला ठार मारणार आहात का? असा आर्त सवाल देशमुख यांनी पोलिसांना केला. मात्र पोलिसांनी त्यांना मुख्यमंत्र्यांना भेटू न देता त्यांची रवानगी पोलिस ठाण्यात केली आहे. देशमुख यांना खेरवाडी पोलिस ठाण्यात नेण्यात आल्याचं सूत्रांनी सांगितलं.
देशमुख यांच्यासोबत एक फाइलही होती. बँकेच्या कर्जासंदर्भात ते मुख्यमंत्र्यांना भेटण्यासाठी आले होते. काही दिवसांपूर्वी त्यांनी या कर्जासंदर्भात मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालयात अर्जही केला होता. त्यावर त्यांना मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालयातून पोचपावतीही देण्यात आली होती. तरीही त्यांची समस्या सुटली नव्हती. त्यामुळे निराश झालेल्या देशमुख यांनी आज थेट मातोश्रीत घुसण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. दरम्यान, कोणत्याही पूर्व परवानगीशिवाय मुख्यमंत्र्यांना भेटण्यासाठी शेकडो लोक रोज मातोश्रीवर येत असतात. त्यामुळे या लोकांशी असे वागावेच लागते, अशी सारवासारव पोलिसांनी केली आहे. तर मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी या शेतकऱ्याला सोडून देण्याचे आदेश पोलिसांना दिले आहेत. त्याचे काय काम आहे, त्याची विचारपूस करण्यासही सांगण्यात आले आहे.
