याआधी बहानगा हायस्कूलमधील विद्यार्थ्यांनी शाळेत प्रवेश करण्यास नकार दिला. अपघातानंतर याच शाळेत मृतदेह ठेवण्यात आले होते. शाळेत मृतदेहांचा खच पडला होता. त्यामुळे बहानगा हाय स्कूलचा वापर काही दिवसांसाठी शवागार म्हणून करण्यात आला. सुरुवातीला मृतदेह शोधण्यासाठी शाळेतील ३ खोल्यांचा वापर करण्यात आला. मात्र मृतदेहांची ओळख पटवण्यासाठी शाळेच्या मुख्य सभागृहाचादेखील वापर करण्यात आला.
