२०२१मध्ये जनगणना करण्यात येणार आहे. १ मे २०२० ते १५ जून २०२० या कालावधीत जनगणनेचा पहिला टप्पा सुरू होणार आहे. यात घरांना क्रमांक देणं, गटाची विभागणी, घर यादी तयार करणं आदी कामे करण्यात येतील. त्यासाठी शिक्षकांच्या नेमणुका केल्या आहेत. त्यासाठी त्यांच्या रजा रद्द केल्या जाणार आहेत. मे महिन्यातील सुट्ट्या रद्द करण्यात येणार आहेत. त्यामुळं वर्षातील ७६ पैकी तब्बल ३९ सुट्ट्यांना शिक्षकांना मुकावं लागणार आहे. जनगणनेच्या कामासाठी शिक्षकांच्या सुट्ट्या रद्द करण्यात येण्याच्या जनगणना अधिकाऱ्यांच्या निर्णयामुळं महाराष्ट्र राज्य शिक्षक परिषदेमध्ये तीव्र नाराजी आहे. राज्यातील शिक्षकांनी या निर्णयाविरोधात नाराजी व्यक्त केली आहे. शिक्षक परिषदेनं या निर्णयाचा निषेध केला आहे. हा निर्णय रद्द करण्यात यावा, अशी मागणी आहे.

काय आहे नोटिशीत?

जनगणनेच्या कामासाठी शिक्षकांच्या नेमणुका करण्यात येणार आहेत. पहिला टप्पा हा १ मे ते १५ जून २०२०मध्ये सुरू होणार आहे. या कालावधीत अनेक कामे करावी लागणार आहेत. त्यामुळं शिक्षकांच्या सुट्ट्या रद्द करण्यात येणार आहेत. महापालिका, खासगी शाळांमधील शिक्षक आणि मुख्याध्यापकांना मुख्यालय सोडून जाऊ नये, अशा सूचना या नोटिशीद्वारे देण्यात आल्या आहेत. मुख्यालय सोडून गेल्यास मुख्याध्यापकांना जबाबदार धरून त्यांच्यावर कायदेशीर कारवाई करण्यात येईल, असा इशाराही दिला आहे.

कोणत्याही कामासाठी शिक्षकच का नेमावे लागत आहेत. त्यांच्या सुट्ट्यांवर गदा का आणली जाते. इतर कर्मचाऱ्यांकडे हे काम का सोपवले जात नाही. आम्ही जनगणना अधिकाऱ्यांची भेट घेऊन शिक्षकांच्या सुट्ट्या रद्द करू नयेत, अशी मागणी केली जाईल. त्या कालावधीत त्यांना कुटुंबासोबत बाहेर जावे लागते. तसंच काही शिक्षकांना बोर्डाचे पेपर तपासण्याची कामेही दिली जातात, असं महाराष्ट्र राज्य शिक्षक परिषदेचे मुंबईतील कार्यवाह शिवनाथ दराडे यांनी एका वृत्तवाहिनीला सांगितलं.
