गुन्हे दाखल झाले तरी बेहत्तर, पण शिवजयंतीची मिरवणूक पारंपरिक मार्गाने काढणारच, असा पवित्रा शहरातील शिवजन्मोत्सव मंडळांनी घेतला आहे. सीबीएस येथील शिवाजी महाराज पुतळ्याजवळ शुक्रवारी सायंकाळी ठिय्या आंदोलनात हा निर्धार व्यक्त करतानाच सरकारचा निषेध नोंदविण्यात आला.

छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांची जयंती दर वर्षी जल्लोषात साजरी केली जाते. परंतु, यंदाच्या उत्सवावर करोना संसर्गाचे सावट आहे. शिवजयंतीचा उत्सव आठवडाभरावर येऊन ठेपला असून, करोना संसर्गाला अटकाव करण्यात आरोग्य यंत्रणांना बऱ्यापैकी यश आल्याने आणि बाजारपेठांमधील जनजीवन पूर्वपदावर आल्याने यंदा जयंती उत्सव धूमधडाक्यात साजरा करण्यासाठी शिवजन्मोत्सव मंडळांनी तयारीदेखील सुरू केली. याकरिता पालकमंत्री छगन भुजबळ यांची भेट घेऊन त्यांनाही मिरवणुकीची परवानगी मिळण्याबाबत साकडे घालण्यात आले.

नवीन मंडळांना परवानगी देण्यात येणार नाही. परंतु, शहरातील पारंपरिक मिरवणुका व कार्यक्रमांना परवानगी देण्यास प्राधान्य राहील, असे भुजबळ यांनी स्पष्ट केले होते. नियमांचे पालन करावे आणि अधिक गर्दी होणार नाही याची काळजी मंडळांनी घ्यावी, अशा सूचनाही भुजबळ यांनी मंडळांच्या बैठकीत केल्या होत्या. परंतु, करोनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर राज्याच्या गृह विभागाने शिवजयंती सोहळा साजरा करण्यावर काही निर्बंध घालण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. त्यामुळे शिवजयंती सोहळ्यात पारंपरिक मार्गावरून मिरवणुकीस परवानगी नसल्याचे भद्रकाली पोलिसांकडून मंडळांना सांगण्यात आले.

विनंतीकडे दुर्लक्षाने संताप

आम्ही करोनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर नियम पाळण्यास तयार आहोत. परंतु, मिरवणूक काढू द्यावी, अशी विनंती मंडळांनी केली. मात्र, पोलिसांनी गृह विभागाच्या निर्देशांकडे बोट केल्याने मंडळांचे पदाधिकारी संतप्त झाले. हे पदाधिकारी आणि शिवप्रेमी सीबीएस येथील छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांच्या पुतळ्यापर्यंत चालत आले. तेथे जोरदार घोषणाबाजी करीत ठिय्या आंदोलन करण्यात आले. ‘तुमचं आमचं नातं काय.. जय जिजाऊ जय शिवराय…’ ‘कोण म्हणतं देणार नाही घेतल्याशिवाय राहणार नाही…’ अशा घोषणा देत सरकारच्या धोरणाचा यावेळी निषेध नोंदविण्यात आला.

पालकमंत्री, जिल्हाधिकारी, पोलिस आयुक्तांनी पारंपरिक मिरवणुकीबाबत सकारात्मकता दर्शविली. मात्र, पोलिस आता नियम सांगत आहेत. एका मंडळात कमीत कमी गर्दी राहील याची काळजी आम्ही घेऊ, त्यामुळे परवानगी मिळायला हवी.

सरकारने शिवजयंती साजरी करायला बंदी घातलेली नाही. फक्त त्यामध्ये किती व्यक्ती सहभागी व्हाव्यात याबाबत मार्गदर्शन केले आहे. कोव्हिड अजून संपलेला नाही हे लक्षात घेऊन मंडळांनी कार्यक्रम घ्यावेत, हा या निर्देशांचा उद्देश आहे.
