सिंधुदुर्गः आरबी समुद्रात तयार झालेला कमी दाबाचा पट्टा आणखी तीव्र होणार आहे. या पट्ट्यामुळे निर्माण झालेल्या ‘तौक्ते’ चक्रीवादळामुळं गोवा आणि कोकण किनारपट्टीवर मुसळधार पाऊस झाला आहे. रविवारी कोकण विभागात वादळी वारे व मुसळधार पावसांमुळं अनेक घरांचे नुकसान झालं आहे. तौक्ते वादळ आता रत्नागिरी किनारपट्टीहून पुढं सरकलं असल्याची माहिती समोर येत आहे. ( )

तौक्ते चक्रीवादळामुळे सिंधुदुर्ग जिल्ह्यात सकाळी ११. ३० वाजेपर्यंत एकूण ४० घरांचे नुकसान झाले आहे. तसंच २ गोठ्यांचे नुकसान झाले असून ३१ ठिकाणी झाडे उन्मळून पडली आहेत. तर, ३ शाळांचे नुकसान झाल्याची माहिती जिल्हा आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन कक्षाकडून देण्यात आली आहे. या वादळाचा सर्वाधिक फटका आतापर्यंत वैभववाडी तालुक्याला बसला आहे. वैभववाडी तालुक्यात एकूण २७ घरांचे नुकसान झाले आहे. एक विद्युतपोलही वैभववाडी तालुक्यात मोडून पडला आहे.

सिंधुदुर्गात झालेल्या चक्रीवादळामुळं नुकसानीचे पंचनामे उद्यापासून हाती घेण्यात येणार असून या आठवड्यापर्यंत नुकसाग्रस्तांना भरपाई दिली जाईल, अशी ग्वाही राज्याचे उच्च शिक्षण मंत्री तथा सिंधुदुर्गचे पालक मंत्री उदय सामंत यांनी आज पत्रकारांशी बोलताना दिली. आज झालेल्या चक्रीवादळामुळे जिल्ह्यात वित्तहानी मोठ्या प्रमाणात झाली असून नुकसानभरपाई देण्यासाठी पंचनामे करण्याचे आदेश प्रशासनाला दिले असल्याचे मंत्री सामंत म्हणाले. तर, वेंगुर्लेतील ५८ कुटुंबे, देवगड २५ आणि मालवण मधील ३५ कुटुंबाचे स्थलांतर करण्यात आल्याची माहिती, उदय सामंत यांनी दिली आहे.

मालवण नजीकच्या खोतजुवे बेटावरच्या रहिवाशांना आज वादळाचा सामना करावा लागला. वादळ रत्नागिरीकडे जाताना काही काळ या बेटापाशी घोंघावत राहिले. दीड तास बेटावरच्या वीस घरातील रहिवाशांनी जीव मुठीत घेऊनच काढला. मात्र, येथील घरे अतिशय मजबूत बांधणीची असल्याने धोका टळला आहे.
