मुंबई: अमरावतीतील चांदुर रेल्वे येथील महिला कला व वाणिज्य महाविद्यालयाच्या राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना शिबिरात विद्यार्थिनींना ‘मी प्रेमविवाह करणार नाही’ अशी शपथ देण्यात आल्याने नव्या वादाला तोंड फुटले आहे. माजी महिला-बालकल्याण मंत्री व भाजप नेत्या पंकजा मुंडे यांनी ‘ही शपथ मुलींनाच का?’, असा खरमरीत प्रश्न विचारत या प्रकारावर तीव्र संताप व्यक्त केला आहे.

‘कॉलेजात मुलींना प्रेम आणि प्रेम विवाह न करण्याची शपथ देणे हा कमालीचा विचित्र प्रकार आहे. ही शपथ मुलींनाच का? आणि ती ही प्रेम न करण्याची… त्यापेक्षा मुलांनी शपथ घ्यायला हवी की, एकतर्फी प्रेमातून मुलींना त्रास देणार नाही. कोणावर अॅसिड फेकणार नाही, कुणाला जिवंत जाळणार नाही. कुणाकडे वाकड्या नजरेने बघणार नाही आणि जर कोणी बघितलं तर त्याला चोख प्रत्युत्तर देईन’ अशा तीव्र भावना पंकजा यांनी ट्विटरच्या माध्यमातून व्यक्त केल्या आहेत.

दरम्यान, व्हॅलेंटाइन डे हा प्रेम व्यक्त करण्याचा दिवस असतो. प्रेमी युगुलांसाठी हा दिवस म्हणजे पर्वणीच असते. अमरावतीच्या चांदुर रेल्वे येथील महिला कला व वाणिज्य महाविद्यालयाने मात्र ‘व्हॅलेंटाइन डे’च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर विद्यार्थिनींना अनोखी शपथ दिली. या महाविद्यालयाचं राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना शिबीर सध्या टेंभुर्णा येथे सुरू असून या शिबिरात विद्यार्थिनींना अनेक शपथा देण्यात आल्या. त्यात ‘मी प्रेमविवाह करणार नाही’ ही अजब शपथ चर्चेचा विषय ठरली आहे.

कोणी दिली शपथ?

शिबिरात ‘युवकांपुढील आव्हाने’ या विषयावर प्रा. प्रदीप दंदे यांनी मार्गदर्शन केले. आजच्या युवकांपुढील आव्हाने त्यांनी विशद केली. मुलींवरील वाढते अत्याचार हेही एक आव्हान असल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले. हे थांबायला हवे, असे ते म्हणाले. ‘आईबाबांवर विश्वास नाही का? त्या तुमचे लग्न योग्य मुलाशी करून देणार नाही का?’ असे प्रश्न करीत त्यांनी प्रेमविवाह न करण्याची शपथ विद्यार्थिनींना दिली. सोबतीलाच हुंडा न घेण्याचा निर्धारही करण्याचे आवाहन केले. ‘सध्याच्या रीतीरिवाजानुसार कुटुंबाने माझे लग्न हुंडा देऊन लावले तर भावी पिढीतील एक माता म्हणून माझ्या सुनेकडून हुंडा घेणार नाही व मुलीसाठी हुंडा देणार नाही’, अशीही शपथ मुलींना देण्यात आली.
