याबाबत महेश विश्वास पटवर्धन (वय ४२, रा. वारजे) यांनी तक्रार दिली आहे. त्यानुसार प्रविण विठ्ठल जगताप (रा. वाई, सातारा) याला अटक करण्यात आली आहे. तर, त्याच्या साथीदाराचा शोध सुरू आहे. जुलै २०२१ मध्ये ही घटना घडली. पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, तक्रारदार व आरोपींची एका व्यक्तीच्या माध्यमातून ओळख झाली होती. त्यावेळी आरोपींनी त्यांना राज्याचे उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार यांचे यांचे पीए, तसंच आएएस अधिकारी यांचा पीए चांगला ओळखीचा असल्याचं सांगितलं होतं.

दरम्यान, पिंपरी चिंचवडमध्येही काही दिवसांपूर्वी अशा प्रकारची घटना घडली होती. त्यामुळे फसवणूक टाळण्यासाठी नागरिकांनी अशा व्यक्तींवर विश्वास ठेवू नये, असं आवाहन पोलीस प्रशासनाकडून केलं जात आहे.
