अलिकडच्या काळात अल्पवयीन मुलांकडून सोशल मीडियावर आक्षेपार्ह पोस्ट करणं, घातक शस्त्रं हातात घेऊन ते फोटो इंस्टाग्राम, फेसबुक, व्हॉट्स अॅप ग्रुपवर शेअर करण्याचं प्रमाण वाढलं आहे. मुलं जसजशी मोठी होत जातात, तसंतसं नवीन गोष्टी शिकण्यासाठी त्यांच्यातील कुतूहल वाढत असतं. आपल्या मित्रांमध्ये रमण्याच्या वयात मुलं तासन्तास सोशल मीडियावर दिसतात. सोशल मीडियावर प्रसिद्धी मिळवण्यासाठी अनेक मुलं काही एक विचार न करता आक्षेपार्ह पोस्ट सेंड करतात. त्या व्हायरल करतात. त्यामुळे त्यांच्याकडून नकळत कायद्याचं उल्लंघन होतं. यांच्यावर गुन्हे दाखल होऊन करियर धोक्यात येण्याची शक्यता असते. याच बाबीचा विचार करत लातूर पोलिसांनी एक नवीन सुरुवात केली आहे. 

मुलं सोशल मीडियाच्या आहारी जाऊन प्रसिद्धी मिळवण्यासाठी आक्षेपार्ह पोस्ट करतात अशा पोस्टचा शोध घेऊन आक्षेपार्ह पोस्ट करणाऱ्या मुलांना त्याच्या पालकांसह बोलावून घेऊन त्यांचे मुलाने सोशल मीडियावर केलेले पोस्ट दाखवून ते त्यांच्याकडूनच डिलीट करून घेऊन त्यांना समज देण्याचे मोहीम सुरू करण्यात आली आहे. त्यामुळे पुढील काळात सोशल मीडियाच्या माध्यमातून होणाऱ्या गुन्ह्यांना आळा बसेल.

याच भूमिकेतून 28 तारखेला लातूर येथील 06 मुलं आणि त्याच्या पालकांना पोलीस ठाण्यात बोलावून घडलेला प्रकार सांगण्यात आला आहे. मुलाच्या अशा पोस्टमुळे होणारं नुकसान समजावून सांगण्यात आलं आहे. पोस्ट निदर्शनास आणून त्यातून होणाऱ्या कायद्याचं उल्लंघन आणि त्यांच्या शिक्षेबाबत माहिती देण्यात आली. यानंतरही त्यांच्याकडून आक्षेपार्ह पोस्ट करण्यात आली तर त्यांच्यावर कायदेशीर कारवाई करण्यात येईल, तशी नोटीस पालकांना देण्यात आली. तसेच त्यांच्या मुलांकडे लक्ष देण्यास सांगण्यात आलं. 
             
सदरची मोहीम यापुढे पण अशीच चालू राहणार असून सोशल मीडियावर आक्षेपार्ह पोस्ट, फोटोज, व्हिडीओ पाठवणाऱ्या युजर्सचा शोध घेऊन त्यांच्यावर कार्यवाही करण्यात येणार आहे. तसेच पालकांना मुलांकडे लक्ष न दिल्याबद्दल उपहासात्मक प्रतिकात्मक असं एक ‘साभार परत’ प्रमाणपत्र देण्यात येणार आहे. हेतू फक्त एवढाचं की, आपल्या पाल्याविषयी पालक अजून जागरूक व्हावे आणि भविष्यात तो आणखी बिघडणार नाही याची दक्षता घेऊ शकतील. त्यांच्या चुकीच्या दिशेनं वाहत जाणाऱ्या पाल्यांचं योग्य मार्गदर्शन करून त्यांना साभार परत आपल्या पालकांच्या ताब्यात दिलं जाणार आहे.
