Rohit Sharma in Press Confrence : भारतीय संघ (Team India) श्रीलंकेविरुद्ध तीन एकदिवसीय सामन्यांची मालिका खेळण्यासाठी सज्ज झाला आहे. या मालिकेतील पहिला सामना 10 जानेवारी रोजी गुवाहाटी येथे होणार असून त्यापूर्वी भारतीय संघाला मोठा धक्का बसला आहे. या मालिकेपूर्वीच टीम इंडियाचा वेगवान गोलंदाज जसप्रीत बुमराह (Jasprit Bumrah) श्रीलंका मालिकेत संघाचा भाग असणार नाही, हे समोर आलं आहे. आता भारतीय संघाचा कर्णधार रोहित शर्माने जसप्रीत बुमराह श्रीलंका मालिकेत न खेळण्याचं नेमकं कारण सांगितलं असून बुमराहला सामन्याआधी सरावादरम्यान पाठीचा त्रास होऊ लागल्याने हा निर्णय संघ व्यवस्थापणानं घेतल्याचं शर्माने सांगितलं.

पत्रकार परिषदेत रोहित शर्मा काय म्हणाला?

रोहित शर्माने सांगितले की, जसप्रीत बुमराहला राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट अकादमीमध्ये गोलंदाजी करताना पाठीत थोडा त्रास जाणवला. याशिवाय, श्रीलंकेविरुद्धच्या एकदिवसीय सामन्यात ईशान किशनला प्लेइंग इलेव्हनमध्ये स्थान मिळणार नसल्याचेही रोहितने सांगितले. टीम इंडियाने सलामीवीर म्हणून शुभमन गिलवर विश्वास व्यक्त केला आहे. दरम्यान ईशान किशनने बांगलादेशविरुद्धच्या एकदिवसीय सामन्यात विक्रमी द्विशतक झळकावले, मात्र असे असतानाही श्रीलंकेविरुद्ध त्याला संघाबाहेर बसावे लागणार आहे.

भारतीय संघाचा वेगवान गोलंदाज जसप्रीत बुमराह अनेक दिवसांपासून संघाचा भाग नाही. जसप्रीत बुमराह दुखापतीमुळे संघाबाहेर आहे. जसप्रीत बुमराह श्रीलंकेविरुद्धच्या एकदिवसीय मालिकेतून भारतीय संघात पुनरागमन करेल, असे मानले जात होते, पण तो संपूर्ण मालिकेतून बाहेर पडला आहे.  टीम इंडियाचा कर्णधार रोहित शर्माने जसप्रीत बुमराहच्या दुखापतीबाबत मोठी अपडेट दिली आहे. रोहित शर्माच्या मते, जसप्रीत बुमराहला बंगळुरूच्या राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट अकादमीमध्ये गोलंदाजी करताना पाठीचा त्रास जाणवला. सध्या तरी भारतीय संघासाठी हा मोठा धक्का मानला जात आहे.

या मालिकेतील पहिला सामना मंगळवारी 

भारत विरुद्ध श्रीलंका एकदिवसीय मालिकेतील पहिला सामना मंगळवारी गुवाहाटी येथे खेळवला जाणार आहे. दोन्ही संघांमधील हा सामना भारतीय वेळेनुसार दुपारी 1.30 वाजता सुरू होईल. त्याचबरोबर भारत-श्रीलंका वनडे मालिकेतील दुसरा सामना 12 जानेवारीला खेळवला जाणार आहे. हा सामना कोलकात्याच्या ईडन गार्डनवर खेळवला जाणार आहे. याशिवाय मालिकेतील तिसरा आणि शेवटचा सामना १५ जानेवारीला होणार आहे. या मालिकेतील शेवटच्या सामन्यात भारत आणि श्रीलंकेचे संघ तिरुअनंतपुरममध्ये आमनेसामने असतील.
