रोहन बोपण्णाचा जन्म ४ मार्च १९८० रोजी बेंगळुरू येथे झाला. बोपण्णाने वयाच्या ११ व्या वर्षी टेनिस खेळायला सुरुवात केली. त्याचे वडील एमजी बोपण्णा यांना रोहनने एखादा वैयक्तिक खेळ खेळावा अशी त्यांची इच्छा होती. रोहनला फुटबॉल आणि हॉकीसारख्या खेळांमध्येही रस होता. पण तो १९ वर्षांचा झाला तोपर्यंत रोहनसाठी टेनिस हेच प्राधान्य ठरले. या स्टार टेनिसपटूचे वडील एमजी बोपण्णा हे कॉफी प्लांटर आहेत तर त्यांची आई मलिका बोपण्णा गृहिणी आहे. रोहनला एक मोठी बहीणही आहे जी मुंबईत राहते.
शिक्षण
रोहन बोपन्नाने आपले शालेय शिक्षण जैन विद्यापीठांतर्गत येणाऱ्या श्री भगवान महावीर जैन महाविद्यालयातून केले. हे विद्यापीठ बंगलोरचे आहे.
रोहन बोपण्णाचे करियर

रोहनचे कुटुंब
रोहन बोपण्णाने २०१२ मध्ये सुप्रिया अन्नियाशी लग्न केले. दोघांनी प्रेमविवाह केला आहे. रोहन आणि सुप्रिया २०१० पासून एकमेकांना डेट करू लागले. सुप्रिया ही रोहनच्या चुलत भावाची मैत्रीण होती. आता रोहन आणि सुप्रिया यांना त्रिधा बोपण्णा नावाची मुलगी आहे. रोहनची पत्नी सुप्रिया ही व्यवसायाने मानसशास्त्रज्ञ आहे.
